This website is under construction.
When finished, this website will feature a fan-made taxonomical categorization structure for all of the current Pokemon species, based on the Kingdom-Phylum-Class-Order-Family-Genus-Species taxonomy system. It's really more of a creative fan project than anything.
This page shows Pokemon in the KPCOFGS order, so it may be harder to find a Pokemon if you are unfamiliar with the nomenclature. To find a specific Pokemon outright, go to this page.
From Latin "sinum" meaning "pocket" and "monstra" meaning "monsters."
Groups together all organisms known more commonly as "Pokemon." Contains the following three phyla:
Creatura |
Inanimata |
Phantasma |
Fabulosa |
This phylum consists of all Pokemon which bare some physiological resemblance to other living organisms (plants, animals, fungi, etc). |
This phylum consists of Pokemon which are composed of otherwise non-living materials, including rocks, wood, or metal. |
This phylum consists of Pokemon which are amorphous, incorporeal, or are the manifestation of the spirit/soul of a living or dead organism. |
This phylum consists of Pokemon which exist outside of known Egg Groups; Many "Legendary" Pokemon belong to this phylum. |
